Multi-systemic Approach for Children and Young People in Local Authority Care
Youthinc offers specialist assessment and develops a multi-systemic treatment plan through our experienced team. We have been commissioned by Local Authorities to provide complex specialist assessments for young people in residential homes or in secure units.
We have developed a collaborative working relationship with Birribi – a children’s residential care provider based in West Wales. Birribi provides a therapeutic approach to residential care, for children and young people with complex neuro-developmental conditions, autism and mental health problems.
Youthinc is a Social Enterprise, formed by highly experienced child and adolescent mental health professionals, who provide a range of therapeutic services to Birribi.
Through working collaboratively, we are able to offer a multi-systemic, therapeutic approach for children in residential care or on the edge of care. We share an ethos of early intervention and prevention, aiming to strengthen birth-family and carer relationships in the community where possible. We create objectives and goals for every placement, so that our work has a clear purpose, measuring progress using the Outcomes Star (an evidence-based tool to measure change).
